Welcome to the 2023 Habitat for Humanity Home at 301 Lake Drive: A Collaborative Endeavor with the HMCBA

Since its founding in 1976 Habitat for Humanity has helped to improve the living conditions of more than 46 million people worldwide.

Habitat for Humanity of the River Valley has served over 300 local families.
As local leaders, community activists, and everyday citizens will tell you, affordable housing is one of the biggest challenges facing our community. Explosive growth and an influx of new residents in recent years has made the dream of homeownership excessively more difficult. In partnership with Habitat for Humanity of the River Valley, the Huntsville Madison County Builders Association is doing our part to keep this dream alive.
Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
In July, Habitat for Humanity broke ground for a project unlike any other this building season, one funded completely by the HMCBA and the 1,350 members who encompass all aspects of the construction industry. Over the first few months of 2023, the HMCBA put out a call to action to its members, a call that was quickly answered to the tune of over $110,000 in building materials, pledged labor or services, and monetary donations.

Thank you to the many members of the HMCBA that made this home possible
